This year, the RSNA will host its 104th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting titled Tomorrow’s Radiology Today. It will be held at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, November 25th to 30th.
When I hear RSNA (Radiological Society of North America), my first thought is, “Big!”
I think, “Technology extravaganza!”
Their annual event is where all the latest high-tech healthcare equipment is displayed in booths set up as far as the eye can see. It’s where all the sights and sounds come together to form a giant radiology amusement park specially created for healthcare professionals and radiology equipment enthusiasts.
RSNA: Who Are They?
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is a society of radiologists and similar health scientists who seek to encourage connections between colleagues and to provide scientists with a platform for radiology education and research.
The RSNA also publishes a number of trade journals about radiology including:
- Radiology — (a monthly publication focused on the latest research)
- Radiographics — a journal of peer reviewed material presented at the annual RSNA meeting
- RSNA News — a monthly newsletter to keep RSNA members informed of RSNA happenings
The Radiological Society of North America provides the healthcare industry the opportunity to come together and inspect new equipment in person. It’s also an opportunity to learn about all the equipment that the best of the best in the healthcare industry will have to offer in the months and years to come.
The Radiology Society of North America (RSNA) Hosts Annual Trade Show
To be more specific, the RSNA holds an annual scientific meeting and trade show every winter that publicizes new research and advances in the field of radiological technology.
According to RSNA, the 2018 annual meeting attendees will get hands-on experience with cutting edge tech, including artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and virtual reality. Dive into the latest research, enhance your skills, and network with your peers during hundreds of educational courses (400+).
Check Out the Future of Radiology Equipment
If you operate a medical practice or a medical facility that makes extensive use of radiological technology, I highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to attend this year’s RSNA event.
There will be a wealth of knowledge and information surrounding the radiology and healthcare field.
